News Update: Head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles appears to be losing his team.

In his short tenure as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, Nick Sirianni has produced amazing outcomes.

With three consecutive NFL playoff berths (including 2023) under his belt, a Super Bowl victory in his second season, and ten straight victories in the first eleven games of the season, Sirianni is currently in his third season as an NFL head coach.

But after that, the Eagles dropped their next three games before eventually winning on Christmas Day against the New York Giants. But following their first victory in four weeks, none of the Eagles appeared to be particularly jubilant.

Not Nick Sirianni, who, near the end of the Eagles’ 33-25 triumph, lost control and shouted at his players and assistant coaches on the sidelines.

Not the players, either, who following their first win in four weeks declined to speak to the media.

Then there was Sirianni’s locker room address after the game, to which the players offered little more than a passive response.

It all begs the question: Has Nick Sirianni lost his team? from the stressful moments on the sidelines to the latest scandal surrounding the squad to the players’ reaction in the locker room.

The Eagles had the best record in the NFL coming into December, and they were riding high after winning the Super Bowl a year earlier. They could not stop talking about how the team’s winning mentality helped them pull off four victories in a row when they were close to losing.

But ever since suffering their first of three straight losses to the San Francisco 49ers, the Eagles have appeared and sounded like a fractured club.

Nick Sirianni made the decision to replace defensive coordinator Sean Desai with Matt Patricia as the play-caller in an attempt to revitalize their faltering defense.

After the Eagles suffered their third straight loss in the closing minute to the Seahawks, quarterback Jalen Hurts questioned the team’s “commitment.” Reports of player finger-pointing and conflict in the locker room had surfaced prior to the Giants game.

In the fourth quarter, the Eagles struggled to shut out the Giants on the field. They were attempting to stop the Giants from driving for the game-tying score when Sirianni’s sideline explosion occurred.

In the final moments, the Eagles were able to preserve the victory with an interception; nonetheless, following the game, DeVonta Smith, an Eagles receiver, expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, “We’re not playing good football right now.”

Are the Eagles not happy with Nick Sirianni’s performance?

Nick Sirianni accepted responsibility for his on-field behavior on Tuesday.

“I need to get better about being too tense on the sidelines, because there were times during that game (Monday),” Sirianni stated. “I need to perform better. I must improve myself if I want to expect the players to do better on their own, and yesterday I most definitely sensed that.

NFL clubs usually look to their head coach for guidance. With the Eagles and Nick Sirianni, it is the same story.

The Eagles have the ability to win the NFC East title on Sunday against Arizona and have secured a postseason berth, but they have given off the impression of a miserable squad that cannot accept defeat. And even though they’ve ended their losing skid with a win, they’re not happy with the way they won.

Their head coach is essentially reflected in the way the entire team behaves. Maybe they are expressing their displeasure with Nick Sirianni now as well.
