NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE — Will Levis donned his No. 8 jersey and arrived to practice on Wednesday.
The Titans rookie quarterback is doing everything he can to prepare for his return to the field.
“It’s good, it’s coming along well,” Levis remarked on Wednesday of his damaged ankle. “We’ll see how this week goes, and I’m going to take it day by day.” I’m still preparing as if I’m playing, with the same mindset regardless of the situation. I’m still working with the (trainers) to get ready as soon as feasible.”
Levis was designated as a full participant on the Injury Report on Wednesday.
Levis has made progress in his recovery from an ankle injury, according to coach Mike Vrabel, and he hopes to participate in the team’s rematch against the Texans on Sunday.
Levis was inactive against the Seahawks on Sunday after suffering an ankle injury in the team’s December 17 game against the Texans at Nissan Stadium.
Ryan Tannehill began against the Seahawks, with Malik Willis serving as the backup.
Levis stated on Wednesday that he wishes to play.
“I just want to play ball,” Levis said. “I just want to go out there and win games and leave this season with a good taste in our mouth. We’ve had some tough losses. … There’s an opportunity to put a new version of us on tape against that same (Texans) defense, (and that’s) going to be exciting.”
