No playing time for Texas standout Rori Harmon due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury
A devastating injury befell the Texas Longhorns on Friday when star guard Rori Harmon was announced by the school to be out for the season due to a damaged anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in her right knee. Harmon, a junior on the fifth-ranked and undefeated Longhorns (13-0), shared the news of her non-contact injury from practice on Wednesday on X (previously Twitter). Through the school’s athletic website, Harmon expressed his gratitude for the support he has received from his teammates and coaching staff throughout this challenging period.

“I also want to thank our medical staff at Texas for taking care of me.”I’ll be the greatest teammate I can be, even if it breaks my heart that I won’t be able to play with my teammates this season. Our ambitious plans for the upcoming season will remain unchanged. Harmon averaged 14.1% shooting, 7.8% assist, 3.1% steal, and 5.6% rebounding over 12 games.
