Jeremiah Martin, an outside linebacker, has joined the practice squad of the New York Giants. Martin is a defensive end/outside linebacker who played collegiate sports at Texas A&M and Washington.
He stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 265 pounds. In 2023, he signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent; however, on August 29, he was cut.
Martin played in 31 games throughout the course of his five-year, two-school collegiate career. He finished with 65 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, one pass breakup, and two forced fumbles.
After losing quarterback Matt Barkley, who joined with the Jaguars last week, Martin stayed out of football until joining the Giants, who had a position available on their practice squad.
