Simpson accepted his invitations to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl on Dec. 6, indicating to the likelihood of him bypassing his final year of eligibility and turning pro. But now his decision is solidified.

Simpson’s decision to shift to the big leagues comes on the heels of a 2023 year at the safety position, which saw him score 36 tackles and four interceptions and four pass breakups – an effort that helped him achieve an amazing 78.3 season grade, per Pro Football Focus.
