Done Deal: Just In Tennessee Volunteers confirm The signing Of Another Experiened Player

Four-star tight end Jack VanDorselaer pledges to Tennessee
The class of 2024 is very much wrapped up, and it’s that time of year that programs begin to move full steam ahead on the following group(s). Obviously work has already been well underway on the 2025 class — that much was evident when Tennessee pulled an early commitment from four-star tight end Jack VanDorselaer.

The 6-4, 225 pound tight end chose Tennessee on Sunday afternoon, preferring the Volunteers over offers from Alabama, LSU, Texas, USC and several others.

According to 247Sports, VanDorselaer is the 190th ranked talent in the class of 2025. He’s the 11th ranked tight end in the class, coming out of the loaded state of Texas. VanDorselaer will be going into his senior year this autumn at Southlake Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas.

Tennessee offered VanDorselaer approximately a year ago during his first trip to school. He returned back in the fall to take in Tennessee’s triumph over South Carolina on September 30th.

The Volunteers have been striving to overhaul the tight end position this offseason after losing both Jacob Warren and McCallan Castles. Former four-star prospect Ethan Davis is expected to step up, while Notre Dame transfer Holden Staes was a big-time get out of the portal. Tennessee also signed three-star recruit Cole Harrison.

VanDorselaer keeps that line rolling, providing Alec Abeln a big recruiting win to open the 2025 cycle.

VanDorselaer is the fifth commitment of Tennessee’s 2025 class. He joins three-star cornerbacks Tyler Redmond, Dylan Lewis and Shamar Arnoux, along with three-star running back Justin Baker. The Volunteers presently rank 12th in 247Sports’ class rankings.
