He must get rid of exit-linked West Ham United flop Danny Ings after what he did v Bristol City [who state that]…..

James Murray has always been a supporter of West Ham United and currently owns season tickets in the Billy Bonds Stand. Since his first game 25 years ago, he has witnessed some amazing talents – as well as a few names that are easily forgotten – wear the renowned claret and blue shirt. He’s now using his typical fan view for West Ham Zone to express his love for West Ham.

Enough is enough, it’s time for Danny Ings to leave West Ham during this transfer window.

Since moving to the London Stadium in January 2023 from Aston Villa, the 31-year-old has had an utterly awful year.

Danny Ings - Wikipedia

In 40 games for the Hammers, the English forward has only managed three goals and two assists, and his confidence seems to be at an all-time low.

For a guy who was brought in to try and address the Irons’ striker shortage—having gone goalless in 18 games this season—it just isn’t a good enough return.

After coming off the bench in the FA Cup match against Bristol City, he had a great opportunity to start the season with a goal, but he skewed the ball wide of the post from close range.

That was a chance that the old Ings, the one who finished the 2019–20 season with 22 goals in the Premier League for Southampton, would have missed.

Instead, he seized the opportunity and missed his big moment to take West Ham to the fourth round of the competition, with the score against the Championship team ending 1-1. He never looked like scoring, though.

Who is Divin Mubama? West Ham teenager profiled after making Premier League debut vs Arsenal - football.london

David Moyes’ decision to substitute young player Divin Mubama for injured Lucas Paqueta—who had to leave the game after just 14 minutes—instead of the England international with three caps was quite instructive.

Although the 19-year-old attacker did not contribute much to his attempt to gain more playing time in the first squad, it is evident that the manager of the Hammers believes he is superior to his more seasoned colleague in the pecking order.

He’s obviously going through one of the hardest times of his career at this point, and I’m beginning to feel bad for him, but we can’t let that hurt us.

Over the past few months, he has been constantly connected to moves outside of East London; however, the club is reportedly hesitant to let him go now that Michail Antonio may be sidelined for up to six weeks.

That implies that in order for us to let him go, we’ll probably need to make an alluring offer to acquire the forward or locate a successor.

What exactly are we losing by letting him leave, though, even if another competent striker isn’t found? Nothing about him this season has suggested that he will ever be able to compete at the London Stadium.

Danny, your time is up. I fear you must depart.
