In collaboration with the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and FC Dallas, the Texas Rangers are elevating their City Connect shirts to a new level.
The Texas Rangers have revealed a few of their 2024 theme nights, and they’ve made the decision to go above and above with their City Connect jerseys, which were debuted in the previous campaign.
The Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, and FC Dallas will be the themes of the Rangers’ theme evenings this season. Each night will have City Connect-themed jerseys in the respective team’s colors.
The dates are confirmed, but according to the Rangers website, the jerseys for one night are already sold out.
The July 2 Dallas Stars game versus the San Diego Padres is the subject of a sold-out theme night. The shirt for that evening is white and black, with a number on the back and the Peagle across the front.
The Cowboys’ City Connect night versus the New York Mets is scheduled for June 18. The famous wide receiver for the Cowboys, CeeDee Lamb, is featured on that jersey.
The Chicago White Sox will be the opponent on July 24 for the Mavericks’ City Connect night. The Mavs’ jersey is white with black trim and includes the number of the team’s star player, Luke Doncic, in contrast to the Cowboys’ black jersey with white trim.
On August 5, FC Dallas City Connect will take on the Houston Astros. The front left corner of the white jersey features the FC Dallas emblem, surrounded by black and red trim.
The previous season, the Rangers debuted the City Connect jerseys, their first experimentation with Nike alternate jerseys. The Dallas Eagles, Fort Worth Panthers, and Dallas-Fort Worth Spurs are just a few of the minor league clubs in the area that served as inspiration for the jersey’s design.
The jersey’s most well-known feature, the “Peagle,” was designed to resemble a cross between an eagle and a panther.
