Tennessee has added another tight end via the transfer portal. Still needing more depth at the position, the Volunteers picked up a pledge from former Alabama tight end Miles Kitselman late on Friday night.

Kitselman is a JUCO product with one season of eligibility remaining. He appeared in 13 games for Alabama last season, playing largely on special teams. Kitselman joins the Crimson Tide prior of the 2022 season. He signed with Alabama out of Hutchinson Community College.

Tennessee football adds Miles Kitselman, Alabama transfer at tight end
Kitselman checks in at 6-5, 250 pounds. He joins former Notre Dame tight end Holden Staes in Tennessee’s transfer portal class, as Alec Abeln and Josh Heupel remodel that room. Tennessee will be replacing seniors Jacob Warren and McCallan Castles next season. Former four-star prospect Ethan Davis is anticipated to take into a key role alongside of Staes — but that’s about all Tennessee had. Kitselman lends a little insurance and experience to the situation.

Tennessee also signed three-star Cole Harrison in the class of 2024. He will grow with Emmanuel Okoye, who joined Tennessee’s 2023 class late after playing in the NFL Academy in Europe.

Kitselman is Tennessee’s sixth transfer portal addition so far this offseason.
