The LSU Tigers are coming off a poor season in 2023. While they had enough to rejoice about, due to Jayden Daniels, the team couldn’t take down the best in the conference. They are hope that 2024 is a different tale. They gained some offensive help when former Liberty wide receiver CJ Daniels committed to the program.

Daniels had a tremendous season for the Flames. He caught 55 catches for 1067 yards with ten touchdowns in 2023. His play was a key element of the 13-1 season of the Conference USA club. He now comes to LSU and is anxious to show that he can put up these types of performances against the best in the country. Daniels had this to say in a statement to On3.

Daniels will get plenty of national opponents to display his talent. The season opens off against USC in one of the premier matches of opening weekend. After that, the SEC calendar is full of high-profile contests. Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Alabama, Florida, and Oklahoma are all on the docket for 2024. Getting an offensive weapon like Daniels will help immensely in keeping up with the high-flying offenses of the SEC.Can the LSU Tigers bounce back in 2024? They have some adjustments to do, but ultimately, if they keep adding this type of talent, they should be just fine.
