Travaris Robinson to stay at Georgia after weighing Alabama return, per reports
While the 2024 college football recruiting classes have not yet officially come to a close, some significant news for the 2025 recruiting cycle broke today. Julian Lewis, the number one overall athlete and the top quarterback in the 2026 recruiting class has stated that he has reclassified to the 2025 recruiting class. Lewis is presently committed to the USC Trojans. Lewis has been labeled as a high-profile prospect for quite some time now and his switching to the upcoming recruiting class certainly alters things. With him now being committed to Lincoln Riley and the Trojans, it narrows down the window for teams like Georgia to continue to press for a flip before he commits with a team.
The Carrolton High School quarterback needed little time at all to make his presence felt on the high school scene as he helped lead his team to a state championship game appearance as a true freshman. The composite five-star, who will now be entering his last high school season in 2024, now becomes perhaps the biggest name and target in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
The Bulldogs now have six commits for their 2019 recruiting class and have not yet locked down a quarterback on that list. Georgia signed just one for the 2024 class in the form of Ryan Puglisi and with Carson Beck looking down what seems to be his final season this next year, one would imagine that the Bulldogs would love to add a player like Lewis to the squad a year from now.
