Report) Green Bay Packers Bring In Former Chicago Bears Defender Ahead Of San Francisco 49ers Matchup

A former Chicago Bears defender works out with the Green Bay Packers before their game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Reporter Aaron Wilson claims that Desliln Alexandre has been invited in by the Packers for a tryout.

Deslin Alexandre is a 25-year-old defensive end who is listed at 6’3″ and 264 pounds. Over his five years in college, he recorded two all-ACC honorable mentions, 131 tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, and seven pass breakups.

The evaluation of Alexandre provided by Lance Zierlein in his predraft profile for NFL.com was mainly supported by his preseason tape:

Given Kingsley Enagbare’s ACL injury, it’s likely that the Packers are trying to bolster their edge rusher depth. That might be Alexandre’s role. He has already played for the Chicago Bears and New York Jets this season.
