Las Vegas Raiders sign Tyreik McAllister following breakout season with Tiger-Cats
The Las Vegas Raiders have signed Tyreik McAllister to a future/reserve deal following a career season with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The five-foot-eleven, 180-pound speedster showed outstanding versatility as a CFL rookie in 2023, leading the league in kickoff return average and all-purpose yards.

The 25-year-old recorded 13 carries for 52 yards, 27 receptions for 364 yards and two touchdowns, 41 kickoff returns for an average of 25.3 yards, 56 punt returns for an average of 10.8 yards, and seven missed and goal returns for 408 yards and one touchdown.

 

The product of Latta, S.C. spent a portion of the 2022 season on the practice roster with the Denver Broncos after going unselected in the NFL Draft out of the University of Charleston. He predominantly played running back before to going to the CFL.

McAllister worked out for the Raiders on Dec. 20, 2023. All CFL players are eligible to seek NFL possibilities regardless of contract status via a window that will remain open until free agency gets began on Feb. 13, 2024.
