Kyren had surgery on her hands.

On Sunday night, the Los Angeles Rams’ season came to an end in a one-point thriller against the Detroit Lions. The Rams battled valiantly against the Lions in Detroit to advance to the playoffs after a season marked by ups and downs.

Running back Kyren Williams, who had a hand injury during the game, received an update on Wednesday from Rams head coach Sean McVay (via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network).

RB Kyren Williams underwent surgery to fix a broken bone in his hand, according to Rams coach Sean McVay, who spoke with media.

This is the play from Sunday that Williams was hurt in.

Williams had an excellent 2023 Rams season. As LA’s main running back, he finished the season with 1,144 yards and 12 touchdowns on 228 runs and 32 receptions for 206 yards and three scores. Despite battling many injuries throughout the season and spending time on the injured reserve, he accomplished all of that in just 12 games. Williams gained 61 yards and a reception on 13 carries during the postseason matchup with the Lions.

Against the Lions, Tyler Higbee also sustained an injury for the Rams; in a devastating blow, the tight end tore his ACL.

The Rams’ season is coming to an end due to two difficult injury updates, but they will have a lengthy summer to heal and prepare for the 2024 campaign. There may be a lot of hope in the Rams organization once again since Matthew Stafford also declared that he will return for the upcoming season.
