Chris Jones praises Josh Allen: ‘He can make any throw’
“He’s a warrior.”
Josh Allen, the standout quarterback for the Buffalo Bills, is the subject of great regard from Kansas City Chiefs star defensive tackle Chris Jones as the two teams get set to play in the divisional round of the playoffs.
This week, at a press conference, Chris Jones revealed why he finds Josh Allen so challenging to stop on the field and expressed his admiration for the way the player plays the game.
Jones remarked, “I mean, he’s a warrior,” as reported by Pro Football Talk. “Observe the plays he made the last time we faced them; he was heading out of bounds when he threw a 40-yard pass off his back leg while still running out of bounds.” He’s difficult to take down; on a few occasions, even when we had him cornered, he managed to get rid of the ball.
Because of his competitive nature, he can make any kind of throw. His arm is quite large. Stefon Diggs, Gabe Davis, and [James] Cook, who has developed into a key component of their attack, are among the talented players who surround him. They’ve been playing pretty well together, in my opinion.
Given that the Chiefs had defeated Buffalo in each of their previous two seasons’ meetings, it is evident that they have recently defeated the Bills in the playoffs. However, Buffalo will host this game rather than Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium. This weekend, we’ll have to see if it ultimately makes a difference.
