Houston Texans Confirm Lose Another Super Star As New Replacement Now Name

Texans rule out Jerry Hughes, Will Anderson is set to play.

For the divisional round, one of the Texans’ rotational pass rushers won’t be available.

Due to an ankle injury, defensive end Jerry Hughes is out for Houston. This week, he didn’t practice.

Hughes, 35, did not participate in the Cleveland game last week. In 17 games this season, he has 3.0 sacks, four tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits.

In addition, the Texans classified fullback Andrew Beck (back) and offensive tackle George Fant (illness) as questionable. On Thursday, Fant did not practice, and Beck was reduced to a limited participant.

Nico Collins, a receiver, also took Thursday off from practice.
