Just In: Largie Ramazani, a forward for Almeria, is wanted by Everton in a cheap transfer.

El Mira reports that Everton is hoping to acquire Largie Ramazani, a former Manchester United player, at a reduced cost this month.

The Spanish news source claims on their website (January 19) that Fiorentina, Lyon, and Everton are among the teams interested in signing the forward.

Almeria, according to AS, was holding out for £35 million during the summer transfer window, but the La Liga team is now willing to let him go for a far smaller figure; his asking price has dropped to £6.8 million.

They stated, “The list of teams interested in Largie Ramazani keeps growing.”

According to information obtained by Raimondo De Magritis in the past few hours, ACF Fiorentina is the new team that is interested in signing the UD Almería player. Apart from the Italian squad, the Belgian attacker is emulated by Olympique Lyon, Lille, and Everton.

Everton target Largie Ramazani will say 'Yes' to a Premier League offer

“UD Almería may be satisfied by ending its sale in the next few days, having closed its arrival for free in the 2020 summer market. It might start at about €8 million (£6.8 million).

Everton has long been interested in Ramazani, dating back to the summer transfer window, but the asking price prevented a deal from ever coming close to completion.

Arnaut Danjuma’s departure during the window has been discussed, and this week’s French reports indicated that the Toffees were almost certain to find a successor, making the Dutch winger’s departure “practically a done deal.”

Given the money needed to consummate a transaction, the previous interest, and the fact that they play similar positions, it would then add up to make Ramazani the favorite.

Although the El Miras story implies that a deal is not close to being completed, if Everton has recognized Ramazani as a target and believes that a transaction is feasible given their financial difficulties, then it should proceed rather swiftly.

Given the cut-price nature of the agreement, this might be one to watch, and it needs to happen quickly to discourage other teams from jumping in.
