Georgia Bulldogs Top Star Confirm He wants To Leave For Good Wages

Breaking: Georgia Bulldogs football program loses four-star recruit; top prospect in class of 2025 reopens recruitment.
The goal of the Georgia Bulldogs’ ongoing roster overhaul is to win their third championship in four years. They did, however, lose a top secondary recruit on Sunday, which could have an adverse effect on their defense going forward. Four-star cornerback Tae Harris has decommitted from Georgia, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports.
Harris is not the first top-tier prospect from the incoming classes to back out of Georgia. Dylan Raiola (2024), a five-star prospect, also changed his pledge from Georgia to Nebraska.

Tae Harris, a four-star CB, reopens commitment
Harris is the 27th-ranked cornerback in the 2018 class and is a four-seat prospect according to 247Sports Composite. With offers from Colorado, Kentucky, Florida, and Georgia Tech, he will resume recruiting. The Georgian plays football for Cedartown High School. Last season, Harris had 87 carries for 421 yards and five touchdowns. He also had four touchdowns and 221 yards from ten receptions. On defense, the junior recorded 44 tackles and a tackle for loss. He also resulted in three errors.
Harris is a track athlete who has a personal best time of 10.73 in the 100-meter sprint. The five-foot-ten, 180-pound corner is ranked first by 247Sports for the Florida Gators.
Georgia Bulldogs: Seeking a CFP Reunion
The Georgia Bulldogs were aiming for a third College Football Playoff appearance as they went into the SEC Championship unbeaten. They lost to the Alabama Crimson Tide, though, and missed out on a four-team postseason field by a small margin. Next year, head coach Kirby Smart hopes for yet another outstanding campaign. Carson Beck, the quarterback they brought back in 2023 after he threw 34 touchdowns, is back. Additionally, they have worked on the transfer portal, acquiring Trevor Etienne, a standout running back for the Florida Gators. Vanderbilt wide receiver Ondon Humphreys, safety Jake Pope of Alabama, and skill player Michael Jackson III of USC have all been claimed by Georgia.

If Georgia had followed the 2024 standards, they would have qualified for the CFP this season. Next year, more one-loss teams that finish in their conference championship will have an opportunity to win the championship as the postseason field is expanded to 12 teams.
