BREAKING NEWS: Eagles Fire Another Experienced offensive coordinator……

Two coordinators are now required by the Eagles.

According to Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane, offensive coordinator Brian Johnson will not rejoin the group.

Following two seasons as Philadelphia’s quarterbacks coach, Johnson had just finished his first season as the team’s offensive coordinator. Even though the Eagles finished seventh in points and eighth in yards, their performance was inconsistent, especially in the latter part of the game. The Eagles lost to the Buccaneers in the wild-card round with a meager nine points.

Jalen Hurts, the quarterback, increased his interceptions from six in 2022 to fifteen in 2023.

Following his interview with the Falcons and overtures from the Panthers and Titans, Johnson had some interest in becoming a head coach.

As the organization attempts to reorganize its coaching staff following a season that saw them lose six of their final seven games, the Eagles have also allegedly parted company with defensive coordinator Sean Desai and senior defensive assistant Matt Patricia.

In 2024, the Eagles will have new coordinators of both offense and defense. Brian Johnson, the OC, was sacked shortly after Sean Desai. According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, the latter has been let go. Johnson’s unlikely return was initially reported by JAKIB’s Derrick Gunn.
