A visit from Jamarrion Gordon to Tennessee is scheduled.
Over the next three weeks, Tennessee’s coaching staff will be entertaining a large number of guests during the open period. Last weekend, they had a number of high-profile 2025 guests, among them George MacIntyre, a quarterback from Brentwood Academy who committed to the Vols a few days later. They will bring in a number of other outstanding athletes this weekend, including Jamarrion Gordon of Jackson High School.
Gordon is an Alabama native and a 2026 defender. He and Landon Duckworth, a 2026 South Carolina quarterback recruit, are high school teammates. Tennessee hosted Duckworth for an unofficial visit last summer. He has traveled to Auburn once, Alabama twice, and Knoxville, Tennessee, for the third time. Gordon has played in two high school football seasons and has amassed 72 tackles, two TFLs, a sack, and two interceptions. Gordon is rapidly becoming closer to Tennessee before he enters the upperclass. After meeting with him, defensive backs coach Willie Martinez seems to be recruiting him as a defensive back for the Vols.
Over the past few seasons, Tennessee has actively recruited players from Alabama, and in 2026, they might return for Gordon.
