Breaking News: Tennessee Volunteers Confirm The Departure Of Another Experienced Star

Shamar Arnoux Leaves Tennessee Volunteers On Saturday night, 2025 three-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux (Carrollton, Ga.) announced his departure from the team.
Even though Tennessee has had some success thus far in their 2025 recruiting class, things don’t always work out as planned. Shamar Arnoux, a cornerback for Carrollton High School, declared on Saturday night that he was leaving the Volunteers. Tennessee’s first 2025 commit, Georgian cornerback prospect Arnoux, is a prospect. Additionally, Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond, two Vols corner commits, were once teammates with him.

Before announcing his commitment from the University of Tennessee, Arnoux was in Georgia on Saturday. Julian Lewis, a quarterback commit to USC and his current high school teammate, paid him a visit. The Volunteers continue to have a very successful class and a number of highly regarded defensive back possibilities available. The Georgia visit was captured on camera, and the 2025 candidate captioned it on X, saying, “This visit hit different.”

Numerous individuals, including prominent targets like Cameron Sparks and Ethan Utley, visited the campus of the Volunteers. It was uncommon for a commit to visit another school during a major recruiting event, such as junior day, at their preferred school. Many people found that strange, but after the most recent news release, everything began to make sense. For the Volunteers, who have the No. 11 recruiting class in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, there are still some excellent possibilities remaining.
