Colts owner Jim Irsay shares health update on social media With Three Words Message To Fans

“On the mend.” Jim Irsay, owner of the Colts, posts a health update on social media, saying, “I’m grateful for all the messages of love and support.”
On December 8, the Indianapolis Colts’ owner and CEO was discovered unconscious at his Carmel, Indiana, home.
INDIANAPOLIS: Jim Irsay, the CEO and owner of the Indianapolis Colts, provided an update on his health on Tuesday afternoon, almost two months after he was discovered unconscious at his Carmel home.

“Healing up. Thank you for all the love and support, Irsay wrote on X, the former Twitter platform, at 2:01 p.m. on February 6.
A police report states that on December 8 at around 4:30 a.m., someone called Carmel police and reported finding Irsay unconscious on a bathroom floor.

Upon their arrival, the police reported that Irsay had been placed on his bed, “where he was struggling to breathe and had a weak pulse and constricted pupils.”

According to the police files, they tried to rouse Irsay with a sternum rub but were unsuccessful. After receiving one dosage of Narcan, according to the police, “he responded slightly.”

The records state that upon arrival, paramedics “took over lifesaving measures.” Irsay was allegedly transferred to a local hospital after that, according to the paperwork.

Authorities reportedly classified the incident as both “overdose” and “overdose/poisoning” in the paperwork, saying, “At this time, it is unknown what Mr. Irsay had ingested prior to our arrival.”

The incident on December 8 and Irsay’s recent illness, which the team disclosed in January, may or may not be connected.

Irsay was receiving treatment for a respiratory ailment, the team announced on January 9.

“Jim Irsay is receiving treatment for a serious respiratory condition right now. He is getting great care and is eager to go back on stage as soon as possible, even if this regrettably means he won’t be able to play with his band this week in Los Angeles. At this point, we won’t have any further information, so please respect Jim and his family’s privacy while he heals.”

On January 17, 13News contacted the Colts organization to inquire about an update regarding Irsay’s health. In response, the company released the following statement:

“Mr. Irsay’s respiratory ailment is still getting better. Regarding his personal health, we won’t be commenting further, and we again request that Jim and his family’s privacy be honored.”
