Good News: Six-time Pro Bowl receiver joins Las Vegas Raiders

Finished Six times Pro Bowl wide receiver signs with the Las Vegas Raiders
The Las Vegas Raiders continue their season of transition in the offseason. Initially, we witnessed the ownership group appointing Antonio Pierce as the permanent head coach. Subsequently, a dramatic turn of events occurred when Kliff Kingsbury appeared to accept the offensive coordinator role, only to later sign with the Washington Commanders.

The Raiders are now adding a player to their roster with a name that NFL fans are well familiar with.

In an unspecified role, Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson collaborates with the Las Vegas Raiders
The individual claims that Chad Johnson has secured employment with the Las Vegas Raiders. Ochocinco made the announcement on Instagram Live on Wednesday, although it’s unclear what position he will have within the company.

Johnson sees it as a kind of reunion with Marvin Lewis, Ochocinco’s former coach when they were both with the Cincinnati Bengals. Lewis is currently Las Vegas’ assistant head coach.

Hue Jackson, who just conducted an interview for an undisclosed position on the Raiders’ offensive coaching staff, is another well-known figure who might be joining Johnson and Lewis. From 2004 to 2006, Jackson was the receivers coach in Cincinnati, where he tutored Johnson for three seasons.

After being chosen 36th overall in the 2001 NFL Draft, Johnson was a six-time Pro Bowl receiver throughout his playing career and was named to two All-Pro teams. Years after leaving the NFL in 2011, Johnson is now playing the game again, albeit in a very different capacity. It’s unclear exactly what function that will play.
