Alabama offers New Mexico’s 4-Star LB, saying it “means the world.” Posa Mason.
Mason Posa, who spoke with Courtney Morgan, general manager of the Alabama Crimson Tide, on Saturday, disclosed an offer from the football team.
Posa is an alumni of Albuquerque, New Mexico’s La Cueva High School. The majority of recruiting websites rank him as a four-star linebacker prospect for 2025.
The junior informed Touchdown Alabama that, given the program’s prior success, an offer from the Tide is significant for him.
It’s quite meaningful, Posa stated. “They’ve always been big dogs, so simply receiving an offer like this makes my life complete.”
Posa has a history of positive relationships with Kalen DeBoer, Morgan, and other Alabama staff members. The four-star is optimistic that DeBoer will succeed in Tuscaloosa.
Posa stated, “I believe he is a great coach and is going to build a great program.”
Posa, who weighs 210 pounds and is 6-foot-3, makes a strong effort to catch the football. He exhibits excellent athleticism when dropping back in coverage and plays sideline to sideline with excellent backside pursuit. The new target for Alabama is effective wherever he lines up on defense.
Posa remarked, “I think I just have a nose for the football.” “Anywhere on the pitch is where I can play, too. That is undoubtedly my greatest strength, but I am most proud of my effort because I always go at a hundred miles per hour.
Posa plans to travel to Alabama in the spring.
