Breaking News: Atlanta Falcons Confirm Departure Of Another Experienced Man

The Los Angeles Rams are set to bring Dave Ragone on board as their quarterbacks coach, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Ragone, the former offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons, will join the Rams’ coaching staff. This announcement closely follows the Rams’ recent hiring of Nate Scheelhaase, the offensive coordinator for Iowa State, as their pass game specialist.

Ragone has accumulated coaching experience over the past three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. A former NFL quarterback himself, Ragone commenced his coaching career in the NFL with the Tennessee Titans in 2011, progressing from the role of receivers coach to quarterbacks coach in 2013. He subsequently served as a quality control coach with the Washington Commanders in 2015, quarterbacks coach with the Chicago Bears from 2016 to 2019, and pass game coordinator with the Bears in 2020 before joining the Falcons.

Interestingly, Zac Robinson, who is currently the offensive coordinator for the Falcons, was previously the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Rams in the last season. The addition of Ragone to the Rams’ coaching staff signifies the team’s ongoing efforts to strengthen their coaching lineup and enhance their quarterback development.
