Buffalo Bills sign OL again David Edwards has a two-year contract (source)
David Edwards signed a two-year agreement with the Buffalo Bills a year after joining the team as a free agent to avoid going undrafted.
Aaron Wilson of KPRC-2 reports that Edwards’ contract with the Bills is a six million dollar, two-year agreement.
Edwards, 26, played for Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer before joining Buffalo last season. Despite playing in 17 games (148 snaps) as the team’s additional offensive lineman, the lineman did not start any games for a healthy Bills line the previous season.
Although Edwards might have gone out on the open market, his knowledge of Kromer’s plan probably contributed to his decision to come back. Edwards was all over his offensive line coach last season.
After agreeing to a free agent contract with the Bills, Edwards told the reporters, “I think the world of him as a football coach.” “It’s amazing how well he teaches the game both technically and conceptually.
As they approach free agency, the Bills have 11 offensive lineman under contract.
