Walker White, a rookie quarterback for the Auburn Tigers, signed a contract with the same QB-specific NIL agency as Bo Nix. Walker White did not waste any time in trying to make money off of his name, image, and likeness.
After only two months of attending Auburn, White has already teamed with a non-league organization. Peter Webb’s QB Reps is a Nashville-based agency that White has signed with.
On their website, QB Reps states that they are a full-service agency that offers NIL services to the top quarterbacks in the country. “From high school to the pros, we are with our QBs every step of the way, assisting them in navigating the shifting NIL landscape and maximizing opportunities to generate revenue and build their brands.”
White joins a select group of highly esteemed quarterbacks who have onboarded with QB Reps, including Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson, former Duke and current Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard, and former Oregon and Auburn quarterback Bo Nix.
According to Doug Young, chief marketing officer of the QB Reps, “we’re excited for Walker to begin his college career at Auburn,” in an interview with On3 Sports. “Aside from being a fantastic football player, he’s also a remarkable leader and human being. I am honored to collaborate with him.
Even though Clemson, Ole Miss, and other schools made significant recruiting efforts, White—who was rated as a 4-star and the fifth-best quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class—opted to attend Auburn.
Following his performance in the 2024 All-American Bowl, in which he scored a 51-yard touchdown on his first pass of the day, 247Sports referred to White as “the best quarterback, by far” to play in the afternoon’s action.
Currently in the midst of what appears to be a four-man quarterback duel among himself, Payton Thorne, Hank Brown, and Holden Geriner, White is going through his first spring practice with the Tigers.
Though Hugh Freeze, the head coach of Auburn, claims that things are moving quickly for the true freshman, he is pleased with what White has shown thus far.
On February 29, Freeze stated of White, “I think he’s so talented.” He really has incredible arm strength. The other day, he made throws that required tremendous arm strength.
