Done Deal: Just In Cleveland Browns Confirm To Agree Deal With Another Top Experienced Star

Browns and T Hakeem Adeniji reach an understanding.
Cleveland strengthens their offensive line with a depth piece.

The Browns have reached an agreement with T Hakeem Adeniji, strengthening their offensive line.

The 2023 season saw the Browns contend with a number of ailments to their tackles, starting with the loss of RT Jack Conklin to a season-ending knee injury in Week 1. In Week 2, rookie tackle Dawand Jones assumed the starting position.

However, in Week 13, he had a knee injury that ended his season, and in Week 14, he was out for the rest of it.
T Jedrick Wills Jr. also missed a chunk of the season with a knee injury he suffered in Week 9 and was placed on injured reserve on November 7, which also affected the Browns. Following that, he had arthroscopic knee surgery, which kept him out of the game for the rest of it.

Although all three are still recovering from their ailments, Adeniji’s arrival lessens the need for depth on their offensive line.

Adeniji, a Kansas native, is starting his fifth NFL season. He played his first three seasons in the league with Cincinnati after being first taken by the Bengals in the sixth round of the 2020 draft.
After that, he signed with the Vikings for the 2023 season, first playing backup roles on the practice squad. With the Bengals and Vikings, he has started 15 of his 43 career games. In 2023, he appeared in just four games for Minnesota.
