Latest Braves News: Just In Atlanta Braves confirm the departure of another top star

Before the start of the MLB season, the Braves have released outfielder Jordan Luplow as they finalize their roster, following the signing of Adam Duvall. Luplow, despite showing decent performance during spring training, with a .985 OPS, three home runs, and seven RBIs in 33 plate appearances, didn’t make the cut.

This marks the second consecutive spring that Luplow has been released by the Braves. Last season, he was part of the team before being designated for assignment shortly after the season began. He then briefly played for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Minnesota Twins before re-signing with the Braves this January. The decision to release Luplow comes shortly after the Braves signed Adam Duvall, who was a key player in their World Series-winning team in 2021.

Despite Duvall’s recent injury struggles, the Braves are aiming for another championship and are prioritizing every position on their roster accordingly.
