On Sunday, Alabama football secured another commitment from a linebacker. Three-star Georgia prospect Luke Metz declared his intention to play for the Crimson Tide.
Metz, who is in the 2025 class, together with Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, posted the news on social media. Metz went with Alabama over schools like Tennessee, Duke, Ole Miss, and LSU.
Metz is rated as the 48th best linebacker in the 2025 class according to 247Sports’ aggregate rankings. He is Georgia’s 47th-ranked player overall.
