Daquan Davis, a 4-star point guard, has committed to Florida State
According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Davis is ranked 106th overall and as the eighth-best point guard.
On Sunday, the Florida State basketball program received some positive news following a challenging conclusion to the season.
Daquan Davis, a four-star point guard, committed to Florida State Thursday evening. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Davis, a point guard in the Overtime Elite league based in Atlanta, is ranked 106th overall and eighth among point guards.
Having reopened his pledge in October, Davis was once committed to the Providence Friars.
He told ZAGSBLOG earlier this month, “Florida State believes I am the missing piece to getting their program back on track.” “I get along well with the coaching staff as well.”
In addition, he had offers from the following teams: the Illinois Illini, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Penn State Nittany Lions, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Texas A&M Aggies, Butler Bulldogs, George Washington Revolutionaries, Mississippi State Bulldogs, and more.
Davis is the second member of Florida State’s 2024 recruiting class, which currently stands 48th in the country behind three-star shooting guard AJ Swinton, who committed to the university in November.
