NEWS: In the 2024 NFL Draft, Lamar Jackson Selects a Few Receivers for the Ravens That He Likes
With the recent signing of a gigantic five-year, $260 million contract that contained $185 million in total guarantees, Lamar Jackson—the two-time NFL MVP and three-time AFC Pro Bowler—became the highest-paid quarterback and player in NFL history.
Baltimore traded up to choose Jackson in the first round (32nd overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft in order to acquire the gifted quarterback. It was a bold move that has paid off handsomely.

The Ravens picked Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers with the 22nd overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft during the previous season. Lamar Jackson was one of the main reasons Flowers was chosen, and this is what he had to say about the Ravens choosing Flowers.
“When I was a young football player, I heard about Zay Flowers.” They would frequently discuss “the little kid; No. 4,” “No. 7,” or similar topics.
I had heard nothing but good things about Zay, and even in college and high school, he was the same man. And I thought, “Man, he” when I watched him on tape and other similar things. Now that Zay Flowers played a significant role in the Ravens’ 2023–2024 success, the team is once again considering Jackson’s wide receiver recommendations for the 2024 NFL Draft.

“A few of the wide receivers that Lamar Jackson likes coming out in the draft have been mentioned to the organization.”
With Devin Duvernay and Odell Beckham Jr. departing for free agency, the Ravens are hoping to add additional support at wide receiver. The draft is crucial, but they’ve also recently welcomed guests like Josh Reynolds and Michael Gallup.
