Jakaleb Faulk, a 4-star Auburn LB commit, has scheduled an official visit to Florida State.
Is it possible for Keldric Faulk’s younger brother to wind up in Tallahassee?
Fans of Florida State who have followed recruitment in recent years are probably well familiar with Faulk. In the summer before his senior year, Highland Home, Alabama’s Keldric Faulk, a four-star defensive lineman in the 2023 recruiting class, chose the Seminoles over Tennessee, Florida, and Auburn.
Faulk’s pledge to FSU appeared to be paying off, as the ‘Noles won ten games that autumn while Auburn, an in-state rival, was having difficulty on the field. These failures ultimately led the Tigers to fire Bryan Harsin and hire Hugh Freeze as their new head coach. That’s when Faulk’s promise to the ‘Noles changed everything. Auburn made a last-ditch effort, and on Signing Day, Faulk switched to the Tigers, dealing a severe damage to FSU’s recruiting class of 2023.
FSU not only invited Keldric’s younger brother Jakaleb Faulk on campus multiple times during his recruitment process. From the same high school, the younger Faulk is a four-star linebacker recruit and has become a serious target for the Seminoles.
What’s the difference? Auburn has already received Jakaleb Faulk’s commitment. His last visit to FSU was in January for a Junior Day on campus. He confirms with Tom Loy of 247Sports that he has scheduled a second trip to Tallahassee, this time as an official visitor.
