Latest News: Travis Kelce makes surprising career decision amid Taylor Swift romance

In the middle of Taylor Swift’s romance, Travis Kelce makes an unexpected career decision: report
Travis has spent eleven years as a player for the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to recent reports, Travis Kelce, a star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is hosting a modernized version of the television program Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?

The reason the NFL star and his fiancée Taylor Swift have been spending so much time in Los Angeles is that production has apparently already started on the Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? series in the city. Concerns “about how much of a commitment Kelce could make to the venture if he continues playing football” were raised when Variety first broke the story in March.

His schedule for the next six months will be tight because he has to return to Kansas City for training in the middle of July before the new NFL season begins in September.

HI! has contacted Travis’s representatives and Amazon for a response.

Travis has been dabbling in the entertainment industry for a while before deciding to go into hosting.

Before he began hosting Saturday Night Live and producing movies and documentaries, he was the star of his own reality romance show, Catching Kelce in 2016. His first film, My Dead Friend Zoe, debuted at SXSW earlier in March, and King Pleasure, an upcoming documentary about Jean-Michel Basquiat, will go into production later in 2024.

It was previously believed that Travis would accompany Taylor to Europe in May when she embarks on the fourth leg of her Eras Tour in France.

During her six nights in Singapore in February, the diva wrapped off the third leg of her Eras Tour. She changed the lyrics of “Karma” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me” as a further shout-out to her lover Travis.

For the last night, Travis, 34, had taken a plane to Singapore, where fans saw him with pals in a private box while Taylor gave her three-hour performance.

As it was coming to an end, he was waiting backstage, much like the times he had seen her on tour, when fans saw her swarming into his arms to plant a kiss.

After he saw her performance at Kansas City, Missouri’s Arrowhead Stadium in the summer of 2023, the two started dating.

He called her out for it on his podcast, “New Heights,” after she rejected his attempt to give her his number and said she had not met anyone before her performance. It’s believed that in the weeks that followed, their mutual acquaintances introduced them, as Taylor subsequently described the move as “metal as hell”.
