This week’s spring transfer portal window saw another significant victory for the Auburn football team. KeAndre Lambert-Smith, a former wide receiver for Penn State, formally committed to the Tigers on Wednesday night.
After playing for the Nittany Lions for four seasons, Lambert-Smith will have one year remaining on his eligibility when he arrives on the Plains. Among other programs, he had the option to attend Texas A&M, USC, Colorado, Florida State, or the Tigers. The wide receiver had an easy time explaining his decision to play football for Auburn.
Lambert-Smith stated, “The staff,” according to Auburn Undercover. “The men in the space. I’ve heard a lot about Cam Coleman and how I can help him realize his potential because I’m an experienced player and I feel like I move like a pro. Entering and demonstrating to the young men. I enjoy difficulties, as I’ve mentioned. Taking that on doesn’t bother me.”
Sam Jackson V and Robert Lewis, two other transfers, are now in the Tigers’ restocked wide receiver group along with Lambert-Smith.
