Breaking News:Buffalo Bills GM Confirm Next Player To Be Drafted

In order to maintain their position to select a renowned receiving talent such as Adonai Mitchell of Texas or Ladd McConkey of Georgia, the Buffalo Bills added a third pick in the Top 100.
It’s becoming clear that receivers Xavier Worthy, Ricky Pearsall, and Xavier Legette were not selected by Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane in the first round of the draft.

Beane traded back to No. 32 and was eliminated from Round 1 after declining to choose any of them at No. 28 overall. An enraged fan base hoping to replace WR1 Stefon Diggs expressed indignation when Worthy, the NFL Combine 40-yard sprint record holder, was selected by the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs using the Bills’ pick.
Upon inhaling deeply, one would conclude that the Bills are in a better situation now than they were the day before.

The Bills now have the No. 33, No. 60, and No. 95 overall picks in the Top 100, as opposed to the No. 28 and No. 60 overall selections.

“We can’t wait until tomorrow. We now have three picks instead of just one, stated Beane.

Then, by passing on Worthy, whose stock has increased recently, they might have avoided a major situation. The speedster has a striking resemblance to former first-round pick John Ross, whose quickness was never productive in the NFL. Worthy is not a large man; he weighs slightly more than 160 pounds and is not as tall as the average “X” receiver.

Buffalo might select the superior Texas receiver, who is arguably still available, at number 33 overall. Adonai Mitchell, who transferred from Georgia, had a bigger build than Worthy and led Texas in touchdown receptions (11) and yards per grab (15.6) in his only season. The 6-foot-2 Mitchell ran the third-fastest 40 (4.34) of all receivers at the Combine, trailing only Worthy’s record-breaking performance.

Ladd McConkey, a receiver for Georgia, is still available and seems to be a good value in the first half of Round 2. McConkey and the Bills are said to have met several times throughout the pre-draft phase.

The Bills will still acquire their “guy” and add another Top 100 pick if Mitchell or McConkey were among their preferred prospects. Once LSU’s Brian Thomas was selected by the Jaguars at No. 23 overall, it appeared to be the best course of action.
The Bills might be able to have their cake and eat it, too, on Friday.
