On Day 3 of the NFL Draft, the Browns might target five players.
The Browns now have four more picks in their arsenal going into day three of the draft after having selected with two picks.
With Rounds 4–7 left, the 2024 NFL Draft comes to an end today, allowing teams to continue adding players to their rosters. General manager Andrew Berry specifically has four picks remaining for the Browns, with pick 156 in the fifth round set to be the first.
The Browns will undoubtedly continue to focus on a handful of players on the last day of the draft. Berry might need to be a little pushy with some of them in order to get close enough to grab them. These are Cleveland’s five possible targets.
1) LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr., Clemson’s left guard
Trotter Jr. is arguably the finest linebacker still available in the class, and the Browns could use a linebacker. With an apparent football background, Trotter Jr. is the son of legendary Eagles player Jeremiah Trotter. He can keep up in coverage and analyzes information rapidly.
The Clemson product was honored to the First-Team All-ACC in 2023 after recording 15 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He has 12 total sacks, 4 interceptions, and 10 passes defensed in the last two seasons.
2) Texas native Ja’Tavion Sanders
The Browns have expressed a great deal of interest in adding a tight end throughout the pre-draft process, and where there’s smoke, there’s fire. Considering that they lost 2020 draft pick Harrison Bryant to free agency last month, it makes sense. Sanders is the greatest candidate for the job.
The fact that he is still available in round four is somewhat amazing, considering it was speculated that he might be selected in the second round. The Browns will need to trade up from their next pick, which is at number 156 overall, if they hope to choose the athletic specimen.
3) Mississippi State’s Decamerion Richardson, chief bank
Berry enjoys amassing a large roster of cornerbacks, and Richardson is undoubtedly a player they will be watching as we move into today’s later rounds. The Mississippi State product reportedly visited the Browns in the top-30. Richardson is one of the best tacklers from the CB position, which is uncommon, particularly for players just out of college.
His 4.34-forty demonstrates his ability to bounce back fast from a route loss and his rather muscular style of football play in coverage. Although he needs to focus on his technique, Cleveland has some amazing talent that he could learn from.
4) Erick All – Iowa, TE

His season ended last fall when he tore his ACL. Additionally, a back ailment ended his 2022 season. He can be a weapon at the next level, though, if he can maintain his health.
He has considerable rawness as a run blocker and is an extremely good route runner. All might end up being in play for the Browns in Round 5 if they manage to hold at 156.
5) Lideatrick Griffin, Mississippi State wide receiver
By selecting a defensive lineman and guard on Friday, Berry sent a message to the outside world that wide receiver isn’t quite as important as they had previously believed.
