For the 2017 season, the Dallas Cowboys are welcoming back two well-known players. On Monday, the Cowboys and Ezekiel Elliott came to an agreement, and on Tuesday, the official paperwork was completed. To replace Tony Pollard, who left for the Tennessee Titans, the Cowboys needed an RB1.
For 2024, Ezekiel Elliott will play for the Dallas Cowboys.
Dallas is anticipated to start Elliott as their starting running back after failing to choose a running back in the weekend draft. Other than Pollard, the team has lost a number of important offensive players since the start of free agency, including two starters on the offensive line. Michael Gallup, a wide receiver, inked a contract with the Oakland Raiders.
Dallas welcomes Tyron Billy-Johnson back.
The Cowboys signed a guy they dismissed at the end of the previous season to give depth to the position, as Gallup was already in Las Vegas. Tyron Billy-Johnson was added to the Cowboys roster, per a team release.
Michael Gehlken, a reporter with Dallas Morning News, refers to athlete Billy-Johnson as a “speedster.”
Billy-Johnson was signed by the Houston Texans in 2019 as an undrafted free agent. He has since joined a number of teams. In his 26 appearances, he has caught 23 passes for 422 yards and three scores.
