The 247Sports Composite rankings currently have Florida State as the 41st-best recruiting class for the 2025 cycle. Because the Seminoles’ high expectations for the program are not met by the rankings, some fans are concerned about recruiting.
When it comes to getting commitments, the Seminoles have been quite chilly during the recruiting process. There are currently four prospects committed to Florida State. The last recruit the Seminoles signed was four-star defensive end Javion Hilson, who transferred from Alabama to Florida State following the retirement of famed head coach Nick Saban in January.
The Seminoles had been successful on the football field over the last two seasons, going 23-4 overall, so fans wondered what was going on. But every year, it appears like people do this as the coaching staff manages to place itself in the top twenty and gives priority to using transfers to cover gaps left by unmet recruiting needs.
The December Early Signing Period is still seven months away, as I previously mentioned. As summer approaches, the recruiting target board may undergo significant adjustments.
Four-star linebacker Tavion Wallace from Wayne County High School in Jesup, Georgia, is one recruit who has remained on the Seminoles’ target list. Ethan Pritchard, a four-star linebacker prospect, has committed to the program; nevertheless, they would like to add two more prospects this cycle.
The gifted linebacker has declared that at 3:30 PM on July 15, he will make his choice.
Wallace had already predicted the Seminoles with a crystal ball. It helps that on June 21, the key recruiting weekend, the linebacker will make his official visit to Florida State, where all of the committed players will be present. All things considered, linebackers coach Randy Shannon needs to close the deal on this potential.
