Former Lions DB Securing for Saints Will Harris Has a One-Year Agreement
Will Harris, a former defensive back for the Detroit Lions, has reportedly signed a one-year contract to play with the New Orleans Saints.
NFL Network insider Mike Garafolo reports that former Lions wide receiver Will Harris has reached an agreement to sign a one-year contract with the Saints, according to a source. After spending five years in Detroit, the former Boston College third-round pick (cc: @TomPelissero) is moving to New Orleans.
The Detroit Lions selected Harris with the 81st overall choice in the third round of the 209 NFL Draft. Harris spent his first five seasons with the Detroit Lions.
He played in seventeen games during the previous campaign, starting two of them. Harris also has prior experience working in a safety capacity. With 81 games played, 246 tackles, 14 pass defenses, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries, 1.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles under his career total, he had accomplished a lot.
