recruiting update for Florida State football: FSU moves to acquire a five-star offensive tackle
The formal spring visits are quickly approaching, and FSU is ramping up its recruitment efforts.
Hiring:
Sanctions won’t deter Alex Atkins since, according to On3Sports Vice President Steve Wiltfong, FSU will sign Five-Star offensive tackle Josh Petty, who just returned from a visit with Ohio State:
Over the next four to six weeks, a large number of highly-regarded 2025 recruits are expected to visit FSU.
Tavion Wallace, a potential five-star and top-50 linebacker, is expected to visit on the third weekend of June and make a decision on July 15.
Football: After watching FSU’s offense this spring, I don’t think it’s overreaction to expect that they will regress, but that doesn’t mean they can’t still be good.
Had the new helmet regulation been in effect when FSU defeated Auburn to win the BCS, the score would have been 30 to 3.
