Allegedly, a Former Auburn Linebacker Joins a prestigious college football program
According to Zach Blostein of 247Sports, former Auburn linebacker Cam Riley is reportedly transferring to Florida State to play for the Seminoles in 2024.

Riley gives Florida State’s linebacker core a plenty of experience. Since 2020, he has participated in 46 Auburn games and amassed 120 total tackles, eight sacks, and tackles for loss. In 2023, the former Auburn linebacker recorded the most sacks of his career.

The linebacker, from Evergreen, Alabama, was a part of the 2020 class. He chose the Tigers over several other Power 4 programs, including LSU, Texas A&M, Alabama, and Tennessee. He was ranked as a three-star linebacker by the On3 Transfer Portal Industry Rankings.

It’s safe to say that Mike Norvell, the head coach of Florida State, has been active on the site. With running back Roydell Williams, defensive back Omarion Cooper, quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, and several more key players, the Seminoles now have 17 transfer commits in total.

Wide receiver Koy Moore, offensive lineman Garner Langlo, defensive back Colton Hood, linebacker Wesley Steiner, and wide receiver Jay Fair are among the recent Auburn alumni that have left the university through the portal. From the portal, the Tigers have added 14 players. In 2024, Auburn will be led by players like Sam Jackson V, Antonio Kite, Robert Lewis, and KeAndre Lambert-Smith.
