Cooper has decided to return to Florida State after playing for the Colorado Buffaloes under head coach Deion Sanders for a year in Boulder. Cooper has 37 total tackles and five pass deflections for the Buffs in the previous season.
Cooper had a fast start to his collegiate career, playing in 20 games for Florida State, including 7 starts. In 2023, he moved to safety at spring camp in Tallahassee to try to find a new role before transferring.
