UDFA LB signed by Buffalo Bills Joe Andreessen Andreessen, a graduate student at the University at Buffalo, had a standout season as a linebacker.

Another player has joined the Buffalo Bills offseason roster as a result of the completion of the 2024 rookie minicamp. Linebacker Joe Andreessen, who was at One Bills Drive for a tryout, was given a position by the Bills at the end of minicamp.

Andreessen, an undrafted free agent out of the University at Buffalo, signs with the Buffalo Bills. He was born and raised in the community of Depew, New York. Andreessen spent five seasons as a linebacker with Bryant University before playing his one and only season with the UB Bulls. After that, Andreessen went at UB to pursue doctoral studies.

He also had a standout FBS season with the Bulls.
Andreessen started all 12 of the Bulls games during his one and only season with UB. He totaled 90 tackles—55 solo—12 tackles for loss, one sack, one pass deflection, and one forced fumble.

At 6’1″ and 232 pounds, Andreessen fits the new mold of the Bills’ favored linebacker type. Reporters had the opportunity to speak with Joe Andreessen during the activities that took place at the team’s practice facility over the weekend, and the Buffalo Bills media crew recorded everything on camera. The entire interview with Andreessen is available below.
