Gordon Signs With Georgia for Class of 2025.
ATHENS, Georgia – Head coach Keidane McAlpine of the University of Georgia soccer team revealed on Monday afternoon that top midfield prospect Hailey Gordon has signed with the team, strengthening its squad for next seasons.
Gordon, a native of Las Vegas, Nevada, will play for Georgia during the 2025 spring exhibition season. She will compete with the Mexico U-20 national team in international competitions all year long as a member of the squad.
Gordon scored two goals in pool play to help Mexico defeat the United States in the Concacaf U-20 Women’s Championship last year. She participated in the 2022 FIFA U-17 World Cup in India as a member of the Mexico U-17 national team.
Gordon participated in club competition for Southern California’s Slammers HB Køge, where he contributed to the team’s two consecutive ECNL Southwest Conference titles. After scoring 40 goals in the season, she was selected for the 2022 ECNL Southwest Conference First Team.
Gordon, who placed second in the graduating class, recently received his Summa Cum Laude diploma from Delta Academy in Las Vegas. She intends to major in Georgia in sport management.
