four-star offensive tackler Ziyare Addison’s Noles are still ranked among the best universities.
Ziyare Addison, a four-star offensive tackle, keeps Florida State ranked among the best universities.
One of the top recruiters on the Seminoles’ coaching staff is thought to be Florida State offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Alex Atkins. Ziyare Addison, a four-star offensive tackle from Sumner High School in Riverview, Florida, is one of the main targets.
Addison answered some questions for ChopChat a while back, and it was clear that he was quite attached to the Seminoles. During an unauthorized tour, he even hinted that Florida State was one of his top choice schools for recruitment.
Addison made the decision to post his list of the top nine universities on social media on Thursday afternoon. The institutions on the list were Florida State, Florida, Oregon, Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, UCLA, and Stanford.
He recently made official visits to UCLA and Georgia. Still on the schedule for the native of Riverview, Florida, are trips to Florida on May 31, Oregon on June 7, Penn State on June 14, and Florida State on June 21. Seeing that he is holding the best for last when it comes to the Seminoles is fantastic.
After deciding to speak with Tyler Harden of TTJH Sports, Addison talked about all of the finalists on his list of the best universities.
At just 240 pounds, Florida State took a chance on him early in the recruiting process. You had to figure that being accepted by a school like the Seminoles, which believed in him even if his frame wasn’t quite there, did wonders for his confidence.
The perception of Florida State as a “family-like environment” appears to be a recurring theme among recruits. Atkins appears to be getting things going with the prospects he brings on board. Given that they have expended a great deal of time and money on Addison, the Seminoles must give him top priority during this recruiting cycle. For them, he would be an excellent left tackle prospect.
