### Dream ‘Finally Coming True’ for Alabama Tight End Signee Jay Lindsey
**Bama247 checks in with summer enrollee ahead of move-in day**
Jay Lindsey, a lifelong Alabama football fan, is about to make his dream a reality as he joins the Crimson Tide this fall. The in-state tight end will move into his freshman dorm this Sunday, ready to begin his college football journey.
Lindsey committed to Alabama last August, signed his National Letter of Intent in December, and remained committed through the coaching transition. In a late January interview after being named AISA Lineman of the Year, Lindsey discussed his decision to stay with the new coaching staff.
“From the first meeting, the relationship was already there. Conversations were natural and easy. They’re all great guys and very personable. Coach DeBoer stands out—everyone who watches him loves him. I think everyone at Alabama already loves him,” Lindsey said.
