Breaking: Tennessee Titans Confirm Departure Of Another Top Star

### New York Giants Eye Former Titans’ First-Round Pick to Bolster Daniel Jones’ Offense

The New York Giants are committed to maximizing Daniel Jones’ potential following his substantial contract extension last offseason. To support Jones, the Giants secured dynamic wide receiver Malik Nabers in the 2024 NFL Draft. A recent trade proposal by Alex Ballentine from Bleacher Report suggests further strengthening the receiving corps by acquiring Treylon Burks from the Tennessee Titans.

#### Boosting the Giants’ Receiving Corps

With the addition of Malik Nabers, the Giants’ wide receiver lineup now includes Nabers, Darius Slayton, Wan’Dale Robinson, and Allen Robinson. However, uncertainties linger, such as the potential retirement of tight end Darren Waller and the loss of running back Saquon Barkley in free agency.

#### Potential Trade for Treylon Burks

Ballentine proposes that the Giants trade for Treylon Burks, a former first-round pick, who might become expendable in Tennessee after the Titans’ acquisition of Calvin Ridley and Tyler Boyd to pair with DeAndre Hopkins:

“A move to another team, like the New York Giants, which is still trying to figure out the receiving corps, would make sense. Going from Levis to Daniel Jones might be a downgrade, but the Giants have a lot of unknowns at wide receiver right now.

Rookie Malik Nabers figures to be their No. 1 receiver. Darius Slayton would be the No. 2 option, but he’s currently sitting out OTAs while he works on a new contract with the G-Men.

There are many young options the Giants hope will hit big this season. Adding Burks would give them another body type with potential in the room. At 6’2″, 225 pounds, the former Razorback is much bigger than the likes of Wan’Dale Robinson (5’8″, 185) and Jalin Hyatt (6’0″, 185).

Burks would still have to fight for reps and targets, but the competition would be a lot lighter in New York.”

#### Ballentine’s Trade Proposal

– **Giants receive:** Treylon Burks
– **Titans receive:** 2025 sixth-round pick

For the Giants, trading a Day 3 pick for a player with Burks’ potential is a low-risk move. The Titans would gain a modest return for a player who has yet to fully realize his potential. In New York, Burks would have a greater opportunity to contribute and stay on the field, providing Jones with another skilled target. Burks’ rookie season in 2022 saw him catch 33 passes for 665 yards and one touchdown, despite the Titans’ less-than-ideal quarterback situation.

While the Giants’ current quarterback lineup might not represent a significant upgrade over what Burks experienced in Tennessee, the added depth and competition in New York’s receiving corps could be beneficial for both Burks and Jones.
