**Football: 2025 Three-Star Linebacker Anthony Williams Commits to TCU**
Previously committed to the Texas Longhorns, Pearland Shadow Creek prospect Anthony Williams has now pledged his commitment to TCU. The three-star outside linebacker announced his decision to join the Horned Frogs on Friday night. After re-opening his recruitment last month, Williams, who ranks as a top-100 prospect in Texas and the No. 56 linebacker nationally according to 247Sports Composite, chose TCU over 21 other offers, including Auburn, Oregon, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.
Standing at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Williams is the 11th recruit in TCU’s 2025 class, which includes six linebackers or defensive linemen. The class currently ranks 20th nationally and second in the Big 12. In his two varsity seasons with the Sharks, Williams has recorded 56 tackles (12 for loss), one sack, one interception, and one fumble recovery, earning the title of District Defensive Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore.
