Breaking: New Orleans Saints Confirm To Loose Another Veteran Star From Squad

**Saints DE Tanoh Kpassagnon Out Indefinitely with Achilles Injury**

METAIRIE, La. (WVUE) – The New Orleans Saints will begin the 2024 season without one of their key edge rushers.

Head Coach Dennis Allen announced that defensive end Tanoh Kpassagnon suffered a torn Achilles tendon and will be sidelined indefinitely.

The injury occurred during drills at the team’s indoor training facility, but Allen did not provide further details on the incident.

Kpassagnon, a former Super Bowl champion, joined the Saints before the 2023 season on a two-year, $5 million contract. Over his three seasons with New Orleans, he accumulated 9.5 sacks and 65 tackles.

Despite the severity of the injury, Allen remains optimistic about Kpassagnon’s potential return. “He’s on the road to recovery, he’s going through the rehab process. He’s going to work as hard as he possibly can to get himself back out there as soon as he can. When that is, I don’t know.”

Kpassagnon, a former second-round draft pick, is determined to make a comeback, though the timeline for his return remains uncertain.
